Bio: Ray Masters was a person of mystery, haunted by his past. He learned many styles of martial arts from his father at an early age as they lived in South Korea, where Ray lived at the age of 3. For many years, Ray went to school, learned martial arts, and had a nice life until sometime after his 13th birthday, where his parents' house burned down with his family in it. What caused this to happen is unknown, but the only sibling he had left after the incident was his younger sister, Daphne, who was walking with him from school when the fire happened. They were sent back to America and were adopted into separate homes, never to see each other until years later.
Ray went to school in a small town in Tennessee after being adopted. He graduated from school near the top of his class. Through these years, he continued to take hone his abilities, as well as going to a wrestling training school near the end of his high school years.
Ray showed a lot of promise compared to others. His agility, speed, and almost unnatural strength put him as one of the best in the school. Yet, Ray was continuously disturbed at the haunting past he had, and when the time came for him to join an actual league, he decided to use this as a basis for his character. Before becoming Demitri, Ray went under the name of the Black Demon and began his career in the EWF. At this time, also, a wave of talent flooded into the fed, but Black Demon was considered as the best to come out of that wave of new faces. He lost his first match to their world champion, but went on undefeated from there, winning the TV title and defending it often. He was set to defend the title again, but the EWF closed its doors for good reason.
Yet, Ray went on to the XPWF, changing his name to Demitri and going on to win its European Title on two occasions. After losing the belt the second time, however, Demitri left the scene two weeks before its closing.
A month after, Ray came face to face with the person he hadn't seen in ten years, his younger sister, Daphne. Daphne was 17 by this time, and had searched for Ray for the past four years, finally finding him after a long, harsh search. Ray took her in, taking care of her needs as she was finishing up high school.
It should be noted that, at this time, Ray was beginning to think about stepping away from the ring permanently. But with his sister living with him, he decided to go back to the ring. He quit his job as a gym trainer and looked for a league to join.
Finally, Ray came across a place much different from either EWF and XPWF, called FCW. After signing a contract with James Crawford, Demitri became a part of the FCW. His first appearance, though, wouldn't come until weeks after. He and Scion, during their days as FCW athletes, came to become good friends, and after Scion was attacked by Deathwish, a former FCW Champion, and his new group, Scion gathered the Outcasts and then called up Cedric Donahue and Demitri both, asking for a favor from both of them. Demitri was quick to agree as was Donahue. Demitri would save Scion from another attack from Onslaught, a minion of Deathwish's, as he wore a mask. The next week, Demitri would get his first match, teaming with Scion against Onslaught and Jack Higgens. After a win against them, the Outcasts began to strike true fear into the hearts of others. Yet, true fear came when they hired the services of the biggest man to ever walk the FCW in Nightmare. Demitri and Nightmare teamed up, leaving all opponents crumbled in their wake, and went on to win the Tag Team Titles from then-champions Nightmare Express. Demitri was most noticed, though, for the stuff he pulled which left people shaken and confused, and people took to calling him the Master of the Mindgames. Yet, after the breaking of the Outcasts for reasons which I won't go into here, Oblivion, FCW's resident madman, took offense to this and began playing Demitri at his own game. To tell honestly, though, Demitri didn't seem to care much. Demitri went on to win the TV title from Sambo during his first reign, but lost it two weeks after to Shawn Micheals, whom Oblivion actually let pin him in order to get under the skin of Demitri as well as cause Demitri to lose the belt without getting pinned himself. From there, Demitri didn't make many appearances and finally let his contract run out, finally getting the boot from James Crawford.
For months, Ray waited at his mansion, thinking to never walk into a ring again, but his eye caught sight of the AGW, and decided to go ahead and return to the ring, going under his real name for the time being. Ray had a little success, winning the Anything Goes Title, but it didn't seem to be enough to sway him from changing back to his dark persona in the form of Demitri once again. Now, Demitri has caught glimpse of Scion, his former Outcast partner, and decides to get redemption against him, and with that, plans on dismantling the Corporation little by little, even if it means doing the job on his own with nobody but Rinyth and Karen Starr aiding him.
