Nik Cain: If anyone doubted this guy’s legitimacy, I think that should have silenced those doubts.

 

 

(Nimrod stands victorious over Explosion. He turns and slowly looks at Sebastian Gyrich. Gyrich motions for him to come with him, but Nimrod doesn't budge. Gyrich orders him along, but again, Nimrod holds fast. Gyrich walks up to the monster, reaches up, and slaps him across the face, berating him for his stupidity and refusal to follow orders. The tirade, however, is short lived, as Nimrod reaches down faster than a man his size should be able to, and executes a ThrillKill on Gyrich on the exposed concrete. Nimrod stares down at the unmoving manager for a few moments before apprehending a passing stagehand and ripping a pen and pad of paper away from the terrified young man. With great deliberation and effort, Nimrod begins writing slowly. When finished, he tears the paper away from the pad and drops the note onto Gyrich's unmoving body and walks away. The camera pans in on the scrap, which simply reads "BYE-BYE”.)

(Mark Payne appears from the crowd behind the announcers, getting over the guardrail and sliding into the ring, the crowd in a roar due to the “toy” he is wielding. Bad Dreams turns around only to get met with a shot from what appears to be a metallic barbed wired bat lit afire intermingled with nails and thumbtacks. Needless to say Bad Dreams collapses in fairly short order…Oblivion turns around and looks at Payne, Payne at him their eyes locked. Payne smiles, laughs, and in a gesture few may remember he tosses the weapon to Oblivion and stares at him definitely…

 

Oblivion handles it, the famed Ultimate Weapon from their last encounter, and in one step nails Payne in the face with it, The Blonde Bastard’s cuts immediately reopened by this shot. Oblivion steps back and with a look of curiosity regards Payne and Payne rises again, still grinning still talking trash. This time Oblivion swing and connects in the side of the stomach, but Payne bears it and lashes out with a right hand of his own into Oblivion’s exposed face. Payne nails him again, and kicks him in the gut causing him to drop the bat. Payne picks it up and in an arc sweeps it into his face, which was facing the mat, sending Oblivion backwards in a violent motion.

 

Payne stands by him and simply decides to lay the malicious weapon down besides Oblivion who is not unconscious and is slowly rising up…Payne asks for the mic as he back away…)

 

“It’s real simple clown. All Hell Breaks…Hell in the Cell…you want to finish my career; I say you don’t have the ability needed. I say I’m going to tear you limb from limb, but we’ll find out. Just you and me and a whole lot of steel around us. One of us is going to get up and be a legend forever, and the other will probably not get up for a long time to come. Either way, this is just beginning. Your move Oblivion. Until then I hope my little present is a nice reminder to you…”

 

(Payne makes his way to the back. Oblivion and Dreams are both staggering to their feet.)

Kevin Cole: This time Scourge cannot answer the ten count! Darian Blaze is your winner and will go on to face Jean next week for the FCW World Title!

 

 

(Darian Blaze stands over the fallen form of Scourge, victorious and with a shot at the World Title. This seems to be the cue for Jean and Even to get up and leave. They step over the guardrail and begin walking up the ramp. Blaze stares a hole through the back of the World Champion but then turns his back and returns his attention to the fans he is showing off for. All of a sudden, Jean stops. He hands the World Title to Even and slowly heads towards the ring, where Scourge is beginning to recover. With Blaze’s attention still diverted, Jean looks under the ring apron, pulls out a sledgehammer and enters the ring, clutching the weapon with intensity.

 

Jean slides into the ring behind both Scourge and Blaze. As Scourge is regaining his senses, he turns around only to receive a shot to the head with the sledgehammer. Scourge falls to the mat and Blaze turns around to face Jean, who clutches the hammer even tighter but then tosses it away. The two get face-to face, the tension growing. Before long a brawl ensues with Blaze forcing Jean back, getting the better of the World Champion. Blaze goes for a clothesline but Jean ducks and spears him to the mat. Blaze gets to his feet and charges Jean, but Jean ducks a forearm and fires back with a flying forearm of his own. As Blaze recovers, Jean runs at him with a clothesline that sends both men out to the floor where the two continue to brawl. Blaze manages to catch Jean with a vertical face buster onto the floor. Blaze then grabs a steel chair and swings as Jean is getting to his feet. But, on instinct, Jean ducks the chair shot and nails blaze with a low blow, causing him to drop the chair. Jean regains his composure, picks up the chair and swings, connecting with a sickening crack across the back of Blaze. He grabs Blaze, turns him around and drives him face-first into the floor with the Deadly Promise.

 

Jean doesn’t look finished with Blaze yet but all of a sudden the crowd begins to burst with noise as the DDI members rush the ring to take care of business. Jean manages to hold his own against Ray Hoffman, but as Jakob Shane makes it a two-on-one, the World Champion is quickly overpowered. Hazard is the last to make it to the ring, staring at the man who ended his title reign. Hoffman is holding Jean's left arm, Shane his right, preventing him from attacking further. Jean is defiant, however, spitting on Hazard repeatedly. Instead of flying off the handle, however, Hazard just grins and produces a 7 inch steel rod from the pocket of his khaki's. Jean looks confused until Hazard whips his wrist and the two foot long collapsible police baton extends. Jean struggles to break free. Hazard ends the resistance with repeated shots to Jean's face, ribs, back, and knees. The champion is allowed to slump to the groun. Hoffman and Shane help Darian Blaze up and look ready to help to the back when Hazard (who now has a house mic) interrupts.)

 

Hazard: Hold on just a second there, guys. I can't help but think there's something that needs to be tended to here. Darian, you were one of the first men I contacted when this business was established. I knew because of your passion for this business, and from past experiences with you, that you had what it took to help make this a successful venture for everyone involved. But oil and water just don't mix, do they, Darian? How naive do you think I am, Darian? You don't think I know how badly you want control of Devil's Dance Inc? Darian...what kind of fool did you think you could play me for? You of all people should know that you can't get anything over on me. But I'm not in the mood to go through another six months of hell with you again over this. You want DDI? All you had to do was ask. I'm not cut out for the corporate world anyway.

 

(With that, Hazard drops the mic...shakes his head...and snaps his fingers in the air. With the cue given, Hoffman and Shane start clubbing Darian Blaze with forearms and knees. Hazard then helps apply the boots to him, picking up long enough for Hoffman and Shane to hit a variation of Total Elimination on Blaze. A legsweep from Hoffman and a big boot to the face from Shane leave him floored as Hazard gets up on the ring apron and flies off with a flying legdrop across the throat. He picks up the mic and leans over top of Darian.)

Hazard: In case you didn't get the point, boy...you're...FIRED!

(Hazard, Hoffman, and Shane head to the back, never looking back as the world champion has begun stirring again on the outside. Jean slowly makes his way over to Blaze.  With considerable effort, Jean manages to pick Blaze up and sets him across the announce table. Jean slowly climbs to the ring apron and then to the top turnbuckle. To the disbelief of many in the crowd, Jean leaps through the air and lands a frog splash on Blaze, sending both men through the table. Both men lay still on the floor. Eve runs over to the fallen Jean and tries to help him up. Instead of attacking Eve, Lauren Washington goes over to Blaze, attempting to help him. Jean slowly gets to his feet, with the help of Eve. “I Stand Alone” kicks up on the PA as Jean walks backwards up the ramp, keeping his eyes on Blaze. Blaze looks menacingly towards Jean, who just laughs. Eve has a look of shock on her face, looking at Jean, as both of them head to the back.)

 

Kevin Cole: Oh my goodness! Oh...my...goodness! I cannot even begin to describe the carnage we just witnessed!

 

Nik Cain: Yeah, ain’t it cool?

 

Kevin Cole: Jean and Blaze will do battle next week!

 

Nik Cain: And Hazard and Blaze will, no doubt, do battle in very near future as well.
