(“New Breed” by Fear Factory begins to play as we see a brand new intro, featuring clips of newer faces to FCW replacing clips of some stars who have parted ways with the company. The final scene shows current FCW World Champion Mark Payne covered in blood and sweat, holding the title belt over his head. We cut to a live shot of the FCW Arena. Though FCW puts on house shows throughout the north east United States and even made a recent trip to Virginia for it’s last pay per view, this building remains it’s home and the fans here remain their most ardent and loyal. T-shirts for the various superstars are seen on many of the people in attendance and many have brought signs that they now wave frantically, hoping to catch the attention of the roving cameras. We then cut to the announce table where Kevin Cole and Nik Cain are seated.)

(Commercials)

(As soon as we come back from commercials, “Smoke on the Water” begins to play, signaling the entrance of James Crawford and his personal security, the Masked Fat Guys. Crawford is carrying a rather large trophy. Once in the ring, Crawford pulls a mic out of his coat.)

James Crawford: When I created FCW, it was because I looked around and so no worthwhile organizations out there at the time. I wanted to create a place, not just for the fans but for the talent as well. A place that gifted wrestlers could proudly call home. That included all gifted wrestlers, male or female. I regret to announce that, due to various factors, I have decided to cut back on the women’s division and retire the women’s title. At this point, I’d like to ask the Women’s Champion to come out here.

(Rhapsody’s music plays as she comes to the ring with the title.)

James Crawford: I’m afraid I have to ask you for that title. But, given your amazing achievement, holding that title for the last 25 weeks, I am awarding you this trophy to commemorate you’re reign as champion.

(Rhapsody slowly hands over the belt but then takes the trophy. She holds it over her head to the applause of the crowd, visibly trying to hold back a few tears. With that, her music plays again and she leaves the ring, as do Crawford and his super sized security.)

Kevin Cole: The Women’s Title has been retired!

Nik Cain: Well, it was getting a little ridiculous. Rhapsody won that thing almost six months ago and no one has been able to take it from her since. She was one hell of a champ, but that kind of title reign does imply a certain lack of competition, which I have to believe was definitely a factor in Crawford’s decision.

Kevin Cole: Well, let’s get on with the show. Up next, a Texas Death match between Darian Blaze and Scourge!

Nik Cain: Scourge has looked very impressive but has yet to really face any legitimate competition. Blaze got a big win last week and will be looking to keep it going with another one here tonight over the new comer.
