(Cole is quickly interrupted as “Smoke on the Water” by Deep Purple blasts over the PA. President James Crawford makes his way to the ring. Conspicuous by their absence are the Masked Fat Guys. Crawford gets in the ring, mic in hand, and wastes no time.)
James Crawford: So, I was watching Anything Goes Wrestling the other day...
(The die-hard crowd in attendance quickly responds to the mere mention of a rival federation with a shower of boos.)
James Crawford: Now I realize that most of you don’t bother watching AGW programming. Unfortunately for me, it is in my best interest to keep an eye on the competition. And, what do you know, Speed Racer decided to take time out of his busy schedule to address little old us. I figured I would do you all a favor and let you see what he had to say.
(The big screen comes alive with a clip from the latest edition of AGW Wednesday Rampage.)
Speed Racer: Most of your roster was in the AGW first, and folks like Mark Payne, Scion, Oblivion and Monarch far outlived their usefulness. All you have to do is look at your World Champ to realize what a sham the league is. Your champion SHOULD be Cedric Donahue but I guess I realized his talent, and it paid off. Cedric EARNED his way to the AGW World Title. I don't know what your champ did, but I doubt he earned anything. That's the story of Crawford's life though...bad people tend to make bad decisions. All he's gonna earn is bankruptcy if he keeps this up.
Speed Racer: Sorry to all the AGW fans and wrestlers for even talking about this so much. They just angered me...even though it's a non-issue. All one has to do is to look at their talent, and look at ours, and we'll win every time. And even now I've let people who have long been looked over in the FCW do what they want and become the stars you wouldn't let them be. I already see great improvements in Donahue, Sambo, Paladin and Nightmare Express especially. Hell, I've even got some good pals in the only other league that matters, the Unified Wrestling League, who would be more than willing to kick your franchise's ass, Crawford. Don't tempt me.
(As the clip ends, the chorus of boos returns, louder than before. Crawford has to wait about a minute before he is able to continue.)
James Crawford: Don’t tempt you? Don’t make me laugh. Payne and Monarch had outlived their usefulness? You actually expect anyone to believe that? They outlived their usefulness but, what, Most Holy hasn’t? How about Unleaded? Kid Nitro? Smooth Operator? Yeah, that’s what I thought. You’ve got a bunch of guys who were overrated even in their prime, and I assure you that they’re all well past that.
Of course you see talent from the FCW stars who have such a lack of loyalty that they compete in your promotion. After all, they’ve been over here for the last couple years being forced into actual competition. And a guy who barely beat a curtain jerker in my organization tonight ran through your whole roster like a hot knife through butter to win your World Title and you think that speaks poorly about us? How about you look at those facts again.
You’re giving people a chance to be stars who were overlooked for years? I’m sorry; you must have momentarily confused who you are with who you were talking to. You got plenty of talented young kids but they’re bound to hit the AGW glass ceiling. How ‘bout we ask Scion or Darian Blaze just how receptive AGW management is to young talent. Or find any of the other countless young stars who were buried underneath your so-called stars for years and ask them just what stars you allowed them to be.
Face facts, Speedy boy. FCW is leaner, meaner, and better. We’re what AGW should have been. My guys would eat yours for breakfast and you and I both know it. So don’t waste my time with little threats you can’t deliver on.
(Crawford drops the mic in dramatic fashion to uproarious applause from the extremely biased crowd. “Smoke on the Water” plays again as he makes his way to the back.)
Kevin Cole: Oh my goodness! Extremely harsh words from the president!
Nik Cain: Well don’t look to me to defend a guy who fired me twice.

Kevin Cole: We have got to take a break but, when we return, three titles will be on the line! Don’t go away!
(Commercials)
Kevin Cole: We are back! Shawn Michaels is about to put the FCW Television Title on the line against Oblivion!
(Cole is, once again, interrupted as “Moneytalks" by AC/DC blasts out and, one by one, each and every member of DDI file out to the ring. Bringing up the rear is the FCW World Heavyweight Champion, Hazard. As each man takes their place in the ring, Hazard calls for a microphone, which is delivered by Pandora. He wastes no time in cutting to the chase.)
Hazard: First of all, I want to thank all the fans and roster members of FCW for last week. I want to thank you all for your unwavering support in our cause to finally shut Jean and his traveling band of gypsy's up. No longer can they lay any semblance of a claim to being the most dominant faction in FCW, neither can anyone else. Because between the World Heavyweight Champion, the Intercontinental Champion, a former multiple time World Champion, and the two hottest youngsters in the business...I think we've got that claim all sewn up. But I'm out here tonight to make a...business proposal...to one Mr. James Crawford. You say you're interested in ratings? You say you want what the fans want? Well see how this grabs you.
I have no problem with defending this title against anyone deemed a worthy contender. Problem is nobody has done anything to earn a shot at this title since I won it. All anybody has done is run their mouth and then get their ass kicked. So I've come up with a little scenario that will most assuredly give us a deserving contender, for a title match at your discretion, a nine-man tournament. Three triple threat matches in the first round, and a triple threat final. And I've even taken the liberty of choosing the participants for you.
I don't think anyone will argue that by way of his history in FCW, Oblivion deserves an opportunity for the World Heavyweight Championship. And personally, I think a young man on your roster by the name of Scourge is more than deserving. And just to save the world from listening to some whining about how unfair everything is...we'll toss in Jean. There's your first match, Oblivion vs. Scourge vs. Jean.
For the second match, I thought former World Heavyweight Champion and perpetual whiner Scion could fill the role. And by virtue of his win at Cruel and Unusual, Evenkeil should get a chance to step up to the plate. And since he's a former 2-time World Heavyweight Champion, I don't care if anybody has a problem with Darian Blaze taking the third spot in that match. Scion vs. Evenkeil vs. Darian Blaze, sound good so far?
And for the grand finale of the first round, I'm taking the most violent man in the federation. Monarch. And I'm taking the hottest wrestler in the company, Paladin. But that ninth man caused me some problems. Mark Payne? I thought about him, but I passed it up since some things "transcend" titles. I'll let him concentrate on those. And Cedric Donahue is good, but he's more concerned with looking for success elsewhere than looking for another opportunity to choke here. So after pawing through the bodies that are on a Leave of Absence...and the no talent goofs that corrupt this place week after week. I figured we'd give the biggest whore in this company a chance to make this return worth the effort. Shawn Michaels, you've got your shot. Monarch vs. Paladin vs. Michael, I think that's a nice study in contrasts.
So if you want ratings, Mr. Crawford, line that up for next week's show. And I'll even take some pressure off of you. I'll referee the finals. Money in the bank baby...money in the bank. And you know what they say...
(Hazard points up to the speaker system as "Moneytalks" blares out once again. Amidst handshakes and small talk, the employees of DDI exit the same way they came in.)
Kevin Cole: The World Champion has just suggested a huge nine-man tournament to determine the top contender to his title!
Nik Cain: A tournament Crawford would have a hard time turning down.
Kevin Cole: But, right now, it’s the Television Title that will be up for grabs!
Nik Cain: Shawn Michaels didn’t have to do much to win that title but the newly-sober Michaels will have to do a lot to keep it here tonight.

James Crawford: Before Hazard and his little “corporation” come out here to compete in our big main event, I decided to come out here and comment on his proposed tournament. After careful consideration...you got a deal. But on one condition, if you don’t call that final match right down the middle, expect to face all three competitors in a four-way dance. That is all; enjoy the main event.
(Crawford walks off without any music or fanfare.)
Kevin Cole: The tournament is a go for next week! But, before that, we’ve still got a huge match here for you tonight!
Nik Cain: The current World Champion, as well as three former World Champs, will be involved in this match. And Monarch and Paladin, while having never held that prestigious title, are no slouches either. It doesn’t get much bigger than this.
