(“New Breed” by Fear Factory once again signifies the beginning of another edition of FCTV. The screen is alive with scenes of violence and brutality. When the dust has settled, three letters remain, FCW. We cut to a shot of our announcers, Kevin Cole and Nik Cain.)
Kevin Cole: Welcome fans to another edition of Full Contact Television! Those of you who watched last week’s program know that it ended in tragedy and I have been informed that our esteemed owner and president, James Crawford, will be out here in a moment to address the matter.
(As if on cue, “Smoke on the Water” begins to play. Crawford comes to the ring, with his bodyguards in tow. He has a somber expression on his face. Once in the ring, he pulls a microphone out of his coat pocket and begins to speak.)
James Crawford: It is with a heavy heart that I come out here this evening. As many of you already know, our World Champion Deathwish suffered a serious injury to his head and neck on this very program last week. I will not replay the footage, as I have no interest in sensationalizing an injury. Things were pretty touch and go for a little while that night, but I am relieved to say that Deathwish is in stable condition. Of course, when and if he will be able to return to the ring is still up in the air. I have heard one doctor give a time frame of a couple months, while another advised against a man who had suffered an injury such as this ever competing again. One thing is for certain; he is in condition to defend the FCW World Title. So, as of this moment, that title is vacant. My thoughts this week have obviously been with our fallen champion and I have spent hardly any time considering how to crown a new one. But it has to be done. So, since his last match was with Tom Tennant and the top contender is now Mark Payne, I am making their match at our upcoming pay per view a World Title match. That is all I have to say publicly about this matter.
(“Smoke on the Water” plays again as Crawford exits the ring and returns to the backstage area.)
Kevin Cole: Big news from the president, who is quite visibly upset!
Nik Cain: I don’t blame him. Injuries are never pretty. No matter how much you boo a guy or jeer him, you just don’t want to see him carried out on a stretcher with a brace around his neck. Wish is one of the most gifted and determined athletes I have ever seen. I have no doubt that he will return and, one behalf of FCW and it’s fans, I want to wish him a speedy recovery.
Kevin Cole: Well said.

The Paladin
(The Paladin has developed a strong following among some fans. He pauses near the entranceway to acknowledge their cheers modestly. Oblivion comes rushing up behind his and assaults him with a series of kicks to his sides and legs, dropping him to his knees. Oblivion walks around to face him and raises up an object. On closer inspection, it appears to be a bible. Oblivion proceeds to bash The Paladin about the head with it repeatedly. After about a dozen shots with the good book to the top and sides of The Paladin’s head, Oblivion disrespectfully tosses the bible to the ground. He then grabs The Paladin and drills him to the concrete with the eND.
Kevin Cole: This guy is sick!
Nik Cain: You might want to watch what you say. He’s headed this way.
(With a great deal of effort, Oblivion picks up the barely conscious Paladin and drags him to the ring. He rolls him into the ring and then heads towards the announce table. He sits on the floor next to the table and prepares to watch the match up close.)

(Two men slowly make their way to ringside. By the excited reaction of the FCW fans, these two men are apparently wrestlers, and fairly well known ones at that. One man is a large black man, standing about 6’8", and well over 350 pounds. He is wearing a pair of black jeans, and no shirt. His bulging bicep, tricep, and pectoral muscles, and noticeable gut make it clear that he is as strong as an ox, and just as immobile. He has a cool, collected expression on his face. The other man is white, with shoulder length red hair, and matching red eyes?! Maybe they are color contacts, but regardless, this guy looks very unbalanced. He is wearing a pair of jeans and a wife beater. This man looks to be about 6’4", and maybe 250 pounds. It’s obvious that he is using every ounce of discipline and restraint in his body to not jump into the ring and unload on both Tragedy and Young Gotti right now. The smaller, obviously crazier, man makes eye contact with Tragedy in the ring. The Thespian briefly acknowledges his presence, then refocuses on his opponent in the ring.)

(The big black man makes his way to the announcers’ table ... it looks like he’s going to interrupt Kevin Cole and Nik Cain).
BIG BLACK MAN: This match is kind of boring, don’t you think ...
(Before Nik and Kevin can even answer, the red haired guy rushes into the ring and dropkicks ... the referee!! The crowd pops loudly for this blatant disregard for authority, while the poor ref is laid out. Now the black guy is in the ring too. The two glare at the Thespian in the ring, and then proceed to double team his opponent. Young Gotti proves to be no match for the two men, as they are fresh and he has been wrestling for the past several minutes. After they beat him down with fists, elbows, and boots, they each grab and arm and pick him up. This is quickly followed by a BRUTAL double single-arm DDT, which leaves Young Gotti laying motionless in the ring. The crowd pops WILDLY for this gratuitous display of violence and disregard for the rules. The unbalanced redheaded man then points at Tragedy just as the ring referee is coming to. He is laughing maniacally and seems to have a confused expression on his face. The two men roll out of the ring and exit through the crowd.)

Crazy Fan: PLEASE!!!! PLEASE, PLEASE,
PLEASE, let me be the blue ink that flows from the fountain that gives the world
the pleasure that can only be described as sheer and unadulterated blissful pain
and hatred.
I want to stand side by side with the masters of the club for the man who stands
for all things and none, who stands for truthful lies, who stands for organized
chaos, who lives in a reality based on imagination,
who makes the strong weak and the weak...weaker. I want to be a follower of the
man who wants no followers. I want to be a part of the group who is led by two
men who follow there hearts to old and wasted movies about people in a certain
metropolis who no longer exist in physical form.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, help me....my brain is on fire with hot stinky cheese
sauce and the dried up grapefruit has slithered its way down my pants. GET
OUT!!! GET OUT!!!
(The Crazy fan drops the mic and begins to hit himself in the head again and
again...until he takes off screaming like a banshee to the back.)
