Cruel and Unusual
(There’s No Such Thing As A Happy Ending)
(As these words fade from the screen, we fade into the standard FCTV intro. “New Breed” by Fear Factory pounds through your speakers as some of the most death-defying stunts in the history of wrestling are put on display. As the intro closes, we cut to a live shot of the FCW Arena, packed as always with the sickest wrestling fans this country has to offer. After panning the crowd for several seconds, the cameras settle on the announce position, filled as always by Kevin Cole and Nik Cain.)

(The announcer has entered the ring to announce the next match. Before he can start, Sambo stops midway to the back and heads back to the ring. The announcer stops himself before he can even start announcing the next match, drops the ring mic, and quickly leaves as Sambo slides in. He picks up the ring mic and looks to the back.)
Sambo: Oblivion, I promised that I'd announce our matches stipulations tonight, but I'm sure you'd be much more interested in a fight. So come on down. You're the last contestant on the Sambo Impromptu Beatdown Show!
(Without the accompaniment of his entrance music, Oblivion quickly makes his way to the ring and the two combatants start brawling. Eventually, Sambo gets the upper hand with a quick kick to the groin and whips Oblivion into the ropes. Sambo bends down for a backdrop but realizes too late that that never works when Oblivion catches him with a sweet running DDT. This is enough to take Sambo down to the mat. Oblivion stomps away at Sambo for a few seconds and then climbs to the top rope. Everyone seems to know what's coming next as Oblivion jumps into the air for a Shooting Star Press. However, Sambo catches Oblivion in midair with a dropkick, which is enough to make him double over in pain when he lands.
Sambo reaches into his trunks and grabs his infamous brass knuckles, and when Oblivion gets up, Sambo nails him in the forehead with a mean hook. Oblivion is knocked down by the shot and Sambo grabs the mic. But rather than speaking, he also grabs Oblivion and drapes him over his shoulder. He makes his way to the back as the camera follows. The two make a quick right up some stairs and eventually come back into the arena area. However, instead of coming out in the audience or at the announce position, they show up about 20 feet above the people on the scaffold! Sambo drops the increasingly conscious Oblivion and raises the mic.)
Sambo: I figured that if I'm going out next week, I'm either going out on top of the game...or above it! That's right bro-han, our match at Cruel and Unusual is going to be one of the most dangerous of them all. A match that, if I weren't already leaving the business after the match, could possibly end my career...and will probably end yours! Cruel and Unusual 2003...Sambo versus Oblivion...last time ever...in a Scaffold match. I told you I was going to take you out with me!
(Sambo pulls Oblivion up and starts trash talking in his face. Oblivion, who is now a bit more conscious than he was before, responds by kicking Sambo in the gut and dropping him on the steel with the eND. The sound of metal clanging is heard as soon as Sambo hits the Scaffold's surface and the enitre Scaffold begins to shake, knocking Oblivion off balance and to the Scaffold's surface. Oblivion carefully gets up, looks down, and smiles before heading off the Scaffold. Eventually, Sambo gets off and he too leaves.)
Kevin Cole: I cannot believe my ears! Sambo and Oblivion in FCW’s first ever Scaffold Match!
Nik Cain: Oblivion has a bad track record with heights, but certainly ain’t a man I’d want to be up on a scaffold with. Oblivion is a lunatic and Sambo has resigned himself to never wrestling again...talk about two men with little or nothing to lose. That match might steal the show.
Kevin Cole: Another match that might steal the show is the three-way Flaming Table Death Match for the World Tag Titles! We’ll get a small preview of that one right now as Damien Escar, Chris White, and Dream Warrior compete in a standard Table Match!
Nik Cain: I believe this will be Escar and White’s first times in a table match, giving Warrior a distinct advantage. But better to pop your cherries now than to do it at the pay per view.

Oblivion has been eliminated.
Numerous fans are using Scion for target practice.
The winners are Scion and Darian Blaze. Time of match: 0:24:07
Kevin Cole: And Scion gets the pin! This match is over! That’s it for us here in New York this week but we will be in Philadelphia in one week for a show you will not want to miss!
Nik Cain: I don’t think I can stress that enough. You run down the card and there are about half a dozen brutal gimmick matches that we’ve never even seen before here in FCW, and most of them are career threatening. This is an event the world will be talking about for years so, if you can’t be there in person, be sure to order it.
Kevin Cole: Until then, this is Kevin Cole for Nik Cain saying goodnight!
