It’s Only the End of the World
(The standard FCTV intro runs. As it comes to a close, we cut a live shot of the FCW Arena. As usual, the arena is sold out and packed to the rafters with some of the most rabid fans in the history of wrestling. The cameras pan the crowd for several seconds before cutting to our announcers.)
Kevin Cole: Full Contact TV is on the air and we’ve got another great show lined up for you this evening! Our main event sees Brad Steel and Sambo putting their World Tag Titles on the line against former four-time champions The Nightmare Express!
Nik Cain: Winning the belts from the Heretics was no small feat but I’ll really be impressed if the makeshift team of Steel and Sambo can successfully defend the straps against Bad Dreams and Dream Warrior.
Kevin Cole: The Television Title will also be on the line as The Messenger defends against Comedy!
Nik Cain: The Messenger is primarily a power wrestler but won’t be able to power the 550-pound Comedy around. He’s gonna have a much harder time defending against Comedy than he did winning the title from Tragedy.
Kevin Cole: But first we’ve got the FCW debut of Jeffrey Ward!
Nik Cain: This is definitely his time in an FCW ring and, based on the lack of info I’ve been able to scrounge up, it may very well be his professional match anywhere.
This contest is scheduled for one fall.

(The Messenger has been handed the TV Title belt. In very uncharacteristic fashion, he motions for a microphone. As he gets one, he holds the title up in front of him.)
The Messenger: Reno, next week you fight for the gold. At Cruel and Unusual, you fight...for your soul.
(With that he simply drops the microphone, calmly exits the ring, and walks up the ramp.)
Kevin Cole: Oh my!
Nik Cain: I think The Messenger just said he’d defend the TV Title against Jay Reno two weeks before they are scheduled to meet at Cruel and Unusual in the infamous Angel of Death Match.
Kevin Cole: We have got to take one last break but, when we return, the FCW World Tag Titles will be on the line so do not go away!
(Commercials)

(As we come back from
commercial, a pine desk is seen set up in the middle of the ring. Darian Blaze
is seen sitting down on a folding chair, twirling around two miniature American
flags, and uttering "God Bless America". Monarch comes from the back, with a
pissed off look on his face, per usual, and makes his way down the aisle and
into the ring. Blaze takes a mic out from one of the drawers, puts it to his
lips, and begins.)
Darian Blaze: That was quite the stunt you
pulled last week, you know with the whole nightstick, and all. But, for all your
hard talk you sure swung like an amateur. If you really knew the rules to YOUR
own game, you would've cracked my skull open and ended it before it got serious.
Am I mad? Annoyed maybe, but I wouldn't go that far. I'm cool, calm, and
collected; in short I'm totally in my element. I want you to listen to me, in
one month FCW is hosting the most sadistic, and deranged PPV ever, televised,
I'm sure you've heard of it, it's called Cruel and Unusual. I expect to see you
there. I know Payne, and Hazard have their ideas, for some groundbreaking,
historic match. But, I assure you all the world's eyes, will be glued a match
involving us two, the Prince, and the Pauper. You see I've been up, and down the
proverbial FCW block, and have beaten every bad ass on every street
corner...except you.
(Blaze smirks, takes the folding chair, winds back, and propels a wicked
chair-shot to the head of Monarch, sending him crashing down to the mat.)
Darian Blaze: Kings come, and kings go, but, the one person who will always
remain the same is me.
(The fans stand to their feet and cheer as Blaze exits the ring and heads to the
back.)
Nik Cain: This feud is only gonna get nastier. Apparently, one of these two will be hanged at Cruel and Unusual, though I can’t believe that even FCW would be jumping at the chance to sanction something like that.
Kevin Cole: Well, right now, Brad Steel and Sambo must defend the FCW World Tag Titles against The Nightmare Express!
