FCW Presents
The Lottery
(The standard FCTV intro runs. As it comes to a close, we see the sold out crowd at the FCW Arena. The cameras pan wildly catching all of regular crazies as well as those popping their cherries, so to speak, tonight with their first live FCW event. After panning the crowd for several seconds, we cut to the announce table.)
Kevin Cole: We are live and one week away from The Lottery!
Nik Cain: The Lottery is always an interesting event as it often pits friend against friend, and teams foe with foe. And, given the recent rash of alliances and all the long-standing feuds, this year promises not to be an exception.
Kevin Cole: But, before we get to that, we’ve got plenty of action to get to this week including a main event to decide who will meet Darian Blaze next week for his newly won FCW World Title! But up first, Jonny Montgomery takes on Comedy!
Nik Cain: In the ring against a 550-pound man, Money find himself writing checks he won’t be able to cash.

Onslaught looks over at Oblivion, then back at the Messenger, then back at Oblivion, the glances up briefly as Reno who is still inside the ring. Onslaught nods his head slightly as if to admit to himself that he is heavily outnumbered. He wisely retreats to fight another day, slowly backing his way up the ramp so he can keep an eye on the others. Once he is gone, Oblivion leaves, with the Messenger in tow, leaving a bewildered Jay Reno in the ring.)
Kevin Cole: What the heck does Oblivion want with Jay Reno?
Nik Cain: Beats the hell out of me. I’d have a better shot of figuring out the rules to bridge than the rules to Oblivion’s mind games. The only thing I am certain of is that, whatever the plan is, it does not involve Ded Ned.
Kevin Cole: Well we have got to take a break but, when we return, the Television Title will be on the line so do not go away!
(Commercials)
(As we return from
break, we open to a scene of Jean sitting backstage on top of a metal crate. The
look of concentration in his eyes is insoluble, and the fire behind his eyes
glows with great magnificence. Suddenly, as he remains perched and ready for
his upcoming match, Michael Kelly approaches him, with microphone in hand.)
Michael Kelly: Jean...Jean! I was wondering
if I could borrow a moment of your time.
(Jean says nothing, and looks up at Kelly, with a glare that could skewer the
wildest boar.)
Michael Kelly: I was just wondering about your thoughts on Harrison
Phillips. Word around here has it that he's been looking to take you out. What
do you think about that?
(Once again, Jean says nothing. And instead,
stands up from the metal crate he was sitting on, and starts to walk away.
Suddenly, as he is about to walk away, the sound of a man running can be heard,
and before you know it the view of a giant foot outstretched can be seen, and
then Jean is knocked down on the floor hard, smacking his head up against the
metal crate. The large man is none other than Harrison Phillips. He looks down,
and laughs after just about taking Jean’s head off with the viscous Yakuza kick.
Jean stays down on the ground, clutching the back of his head. Suddenly,
Harrison grabs Michael Kelly by the shirt, and takes the microphone.)
Harrison Phillips: It's easy to tell what
Jean thinks. I mean, just look at him. He thinks he's the cat's meow... he
doesn't need to speak to the public. He thinks just cause he had the longest
title reign in the company, that he can just go ahead and ignore everyone else
and just go about his business. Well guess what, Michael? Guess what
FCW? Harrison Phillips, the greatest thing since canned ham, is about to put a
stop to that.
(Suddenly, Harrison reaches down, and grabs
Jean by his neck. Then, using all of his brute strength, he lifts him high in
the air, choking the life out of him.)
Harrison Phillips: CONSIDER THIS YOUR REALITY CHECK, PUNK!
Suddenly, Harrison runs towards the wall of this corridor, and throws Jean into
it, slamming his body completely through the white manifold. Harrison calmly
walks off, as the medical team storms the scene.)
Kevin Cole: I cannot believe what we’ve just witnessed! Harrison Phillips just threw Jean through a wall backstage! And now he is on his way to the ring!
Nik Cain: I doubt he’ll be tossing Nimrod around with that degree of ease.

so-called Icon of FCW, says, I am not his concern; I am not even a blip on his
radar. You won't give me the proper respect as a person, let alone as champion,
but that's okay. I have never asked for respect, I've always gone out and earned
it. Let's make this formal. What lies on the ground is the official World title
contract for the Lottery.
(Blaze picks up one of the contracts, takes
his pen, and signs it.)
In Vegas, I'm going to prove to you why this
place runs on my blood, sweat, and tears, not yours. I am going out there, to
prove to these fans, why I am the FCW World Champion. Believe me I'll bleed,
but, I'll make you bleed just a little bit more.
(Blaze, turns, and exits the ring, with his eyes focused directly on the ring,
and Payne. Payne picks up the other contract and signs as it. As he does, Blaze
lifts his title in the air, and points at it, with a look of coiled up
determination.)
Kevin Cole: Oh man! These two men are on a collision course and they meet head on in one week at The Lottery! Be sure to tune in for all the pay per view action! Until then, this is Kevin Cole for Nik Cain saying goodnight!
(We cut back to a shot of Blaze walking to the back, title held up high. Then we cut back to the ring, Payne has a grin from ear to ear. On his face, the screen fades to black.)
