(“We are the new
breed! We are the new gods!” Thus begins “New Breed by Fear Factory which, in
turn, signals the start of another Full Contact TV. As the intro ends, we cut to
a live shot of the arena. Then, before we can to the announcers for a word, the
"Mr. Moonlight" logo, begins to flash across the FCWTron. The logo, fades, and
all you see is Darian Blaze, and Lauren, sitting in their locker room together.
Blaze is seen with a determined look on his face, after the gang beating, he and
Paladin had received a week before. Blaze stands up, and begins to speak)
Darian Blaze: That was real cute, Wrecking Crew. Way to cheap shot us from
behind. But, you know what? While you three grandpas are sitting around, trading
arthritis stories, and trying to figure out, just what your little club, means
to the world. The Paladin and I have been thinking. We've been thinking, that
three to two are just the kind of odds you like, and well we don't like those
odds. I figured there’s not a man in FCW, who hates you Monarch, as much as this
man does, and I figured Samson, here's your time to shine, and TRY and erase
that piss poor record of yours against him, and Explosion, how's the neck, I
promised you a Blazing Star, and I delivered. But, getting to the point, we went
out and recruited the most dangerous man, ever to lace up boots. Next week,
boys, it’s real simple. Wrecking Crew vs. The Untouchables and Hazard. I've done
enough talking, I figure later, I'll give at least one of you, a little prequel
of sorts, of what’s gonna happen.
(We now cut to the announce position where Kevin Cole and Nik Cain are seated.)
Kevin Cole: Oh my! What a challenge issued by Blaze! But, will Hazard agree to this?
Nik Cain: It’s hard to say. Hazard and Blaze hate each other but Hazard has proven in the past that he is willing to team with just about anyone, as long as it means getting his hands on some other people he can’t stand. But, if I were Blaze, I’d be more focused on the task at hand for tonight.
Kevin Cole: That’s right! Our main event tonight is Darian Blaze versus Mark Payne, with the FCW World Title on the line! But, to get things started, we have Jay Reno taking on Scott Andrews!
Nik Cain: Two promising, but relatively unproven, rookies.

(Paladin is standing in the center of the ring as Samson removes himself. Before Samson can even walk up the aisle, "My Gift To You" blasts onto the PA system. The lights go out as the entrance glows silver. Eve stands at the entrance as Jean appears from behind the curtains. The duo walks the aisle toward the ring, where Paladin is still waiting. Samson is prepared for another fight, but Jean and Eve pass right by him, leaving a confused look on his face. Jean jumps into the ring as Eve stays standing outside the ring. Paladin has a scowl on his face as Jean approaches him and gets face-to-face with Paladin. Fans are to their feet as they expect a brawl between the two athletes, but Jean steps back, pulling a mic from the inside pocket of his overcoat. Fans quiet down as Jean begins to speak.)
Jean: I don't know who you think you are, but let me tell you one thing. You have no right to act like a better man than me. Truth be told, you are no different than anyone else in the FCW. You fight, trying to win and gain glory. You hurt people, something that the bible itself doesn't exactly condone. Wat makes you such a great-hearted person, Paladin? It certainly isn't your claim to be a Christian. People look at you in the ring, and they don't see a Christian, they see a man who enjoys this job like it's some kind of game. And, you know, that's exactly what you are. Stop trying to kid yourself, Paladin. Hell, stop trying to fool everyone, because it ain't working. Do you actually believe that you and Blaze are on some divine mission? That's bull. You fail to realize that, ever since I got injured at Payne's hands, you and Blaze haven't done much justice for what our cause was. When we formed the Untouchables, we weren't about revenge... we weren't about trying to strike fear into the hearts of others. It was about justice. During my absence, you and Blaze did nothing for our cause.
The Untouchables had become a group of glory hounds in other words.
But, you know, I don't hold you at fault at all. You're a blind man, anyway. Unaware of what Blaze was really after. That's the reason I left, Paladin. The two of you lost the way. With as low as it had fallen, I didn't want to waste my time trying to bring the Untouchables back on track. There's another thing you need to realize, though.
(Jean removes the title belt from around his waste, and sets it down on the mat between him and Paladin.)
Jean: You see this belt, Paladin? You believe that I won't hold this belt for long? Let me tell you one thing, you're no prophet. You know nothing about what the future holds. I may keep this belt a lot longer than you will think. But that's not for you to decide. That's up to me and the other man holding the other belt just like this one. You looked back at my TV title reign. And you know what, you were right. But you forget you have no right to bring that up. I look back at when you beat Cedric Donahue, one of the best the FCW had to offer, for the Intercontinental Title. You know, I was surprised that someone had finally beaten Cedric for that title. But you know, that next week, look who you lost it to. Dan Sexton. But the point isn't who beat you. The point is the length of the reign. Only seven days, the same as me. So, in reality, you can't talk much.
So what exactly gives you the right to say you're any better than me?
You even stole my finisher to use for your own selfish purposes. Very original, genius. But the fact remains that I am pleased with where I am in this business. I have a life with the only woman I care about... I'm one of the most popular men in the FCW... I am one-half of the tag team champions with the biggest man in the FCW... hell, I still count you as a brother. Take it as you will Paladin, because I couldn't care less. The only man I have a problem with right now is Blaze. As for you, you stay out of my business, and you can do whatever you wish in peace. Get your ass kicked by The Wrecking Crew. Challenge the FCW Champion and lose miserably. Do whatever, because in the end, it matters not to me.
I am the night, and the night is forever."
(Jean moves away as Paladin is standing still in the ring. "My Gift To You" plays again as Jean leaves the ring and goes to the back with Eve. Leaving Paladin staring a hole through the back of Jean.)
Nik Cain: Am I the only one who would have liked to have seen an actual punch thrown, instead of a whole lot of talk?
Kevin Cole: Knowing these fans, no you are not. In any case, we have a table death match up next!
Nik Cain: Well that kinda makes up for it.
Kevin Cole: It will be Oblivion taking on Jeff Miller!

(As the bell rings to signal the end of the match, the
lights in the arena are suddenly extinguished. With the ring cloaked
in darkness, both Blaze and Payne seem bewildered. Gradually dry ice seeps into
the ring area, enveloping both competitors in a thick fog. The lights directed
at the squared circle slowly flicker back on, but they have become a reddish
haze. It appears as if there is now a bloody mist pervading the ring and
Mark Payne and Darian Blaze are no more than mere shadows.
As the swirling fog diminishes, two large silhouetted figures are revealed standing across the ring from Payne and Blaze. As the mist clears further and the lights return to their normal state we see 'The Prince of Darkness' Jean, and the hulking Rinyth standing and staring at the two weary wrestlers. Smiling wickedly, The Chamber remain poised, staring into the eyes of their rivals. Pre-occupied by the appearance of The Chamber, Payne and Blaze fail to notice the masked man who has now crept into the ring behind them. Blaze is startled as he hears the sickening crack as a thunderous chair shot from the large imposter levels Mark Payne. As he turns to confront the attacker he himself is blindsided as Rinyth turns him back around, delivering a devastating clothesline into his throat. As The Chamber stomp on the exhausted Blaze, Mark Payne tries to get to his feet but is again suppressed by a flurry of chair shots from his unrelenting unknown assailant. A final repulsive chair shot to the head leaves Payne lying motionless, blood gushing into the 'Blonde Bastard's' hair.)
Jean: "My dear friend, Payne. It's been a while since I last caused you hell on earth during your title reign. I'm the man who cost you your belt the first time around. You can bet that I'll be the one to ruin it the second time. As far as I'm concerned, Payne, you can injure me, you can torture me. Hell, you can even destroy me. But you know, clear in your mind, that I am the one man you just can't get out of your head. Constantly, I linger in your mind. You are always aware that, at any moment, I can come out of the shadows and pounce like a cat stalking an unwary mouse. I've cost you the World title. You took vengeance. I made the mistake of turning my attention from you after you lost the belt. That won't happen a second time. Next time, Payne, I will be more aware, and I will always suspect.
As for you, Blaze. For the longest, you have ignored me. You're too afraid to step up to the plate when the one man who knows you best comes up to you and makes the challenge. I realize this, and week after week, I come up and find you fighting someone other than the one man you should be worried about. It's not Payne. It's not Hazard. It's not Samson. The man you should be worried about is me. I am the man who brought you to the level you were once at. You had your ten seconds of fame, and you blew it. I constantly challenge you, but you avoid me. Well, that won't be happening for long, as I have brought an old enemy from your past right to you. Starting tonight, you're a marked man. So Blaze, it is my pleasure to introduce you to an old friend of yours and the newest member of The Chamber...SCOURGE!!"
(The shocked crowd roars as
the imposter tears his executioner's mask off to reveal the familiar intense
visage of Scourge who has an eerie smile fixed on his face. Staring proudly at
the battered Mark Payne and the humiliated Darian Blaze, Scourge is handed the
mic from Jean.)
Scourge: To the privileged who are in attendance tonight, you are witnesses to a
new dawn for FCW. For too long you have had to suffer the acts of men such as
these two, men who preach their superiority, so-called superstars who think they
are above everybody. They see themselves as untouchable, able to do as they
please. The Chamber is here to destroy such false 'Gods' who preach nothing of
substance. In return we promise nothing, nothing except the turmoil and carnage
you crave. As The Chamber plunges this entire federation into darkness, into the
chaos you demand, we will punish all who oppose us. The persecution begins here
my friends, you will see how the unworthy are to be treated.
As Scourge throws down the mic, Darian Blaze is carried to a corner of the ring
by Rinyth. where Scourge has already ascended to the second turnbuckle. Blaze is
then hoisted into Scourge's waiting arms into a position for a guillotine from
the second rope. Helplessly dangling head first, a stricken Blaze stares down at
a canvas that is all too far away. Yet The Chamber has another surprise in store
for their victim, a steel chair is placed on the mat underneath
Scourge. Suspended teetering with his arms pathetically flailing for what must
seem like minutes, Blaze is finally plummeted head-first into the folded chair,
his neck and lower back striking the steel with frightening velocity.
With Darian Blaze unconscious in the corner, Mark Payne valiantly drags himself
to his feet blood seeping profusely from his forehead. He is greeted by a huge
knee to the stomach from Rinyth before being caught in Jean's Cry of Souls. The
force of this maneuver is too much for the exhausted Payne who lapses into
unconsciousness, sprawled in the center of the ring. Arms raised in triumph, The
Chamber finally exit the ring as the distorted tones of White Zombie's 'Blood,
Milk and Sky' flood the arena.)
Kevin Cole: What the heck just happened?
Nik Cain: Long story short, Blaze is the new World Champ, Scourge is now in the Chamber, and we are desperately out of time.
Kevin Cole: Yes we are! Tune in next week! Goodnight!
