(The Paladin is visibly pleased with his victory, but he won’t get a chance to enjoy it. Despite the defeat, Monarch is already getting to his feet, a grin from ear to ear. The reason for the smile is none other than Samson leaping over the guardrail, steel chair in hand. He slides in the ring and levels The Paladin in the head with the chair. As this is going down, Explosion is running down the aisle, making a B-line for the ring. As The Paladin turns his attention to Samson, Explosion enters the ring and nearly tears his head off with a clothesline to the back on the head.
At this point, both Samson and Explosion grab an arm and pick The Paladin up. Monarch has reached into his boot and pulled out a pair of brass knuckles. He punches the captive Paladin right in the forehead.)
Monarch: You stupid son of a bitch!
(Another stiff shot right to the now bloody head of The Paladin)
Monarch: You wear your colors, but you don’t seem to have a clue about what it means to earn them. Your boy stepped on our turf, son. He declared war, and you’ve just become a casualty.
(Monarch hits him one more time for good measure. Samson and Explosion then release The Paladin’s barely conscious body and it falls to the mat, right at Monarch’s feet. He holds his arms out to his sides, amidst some cheers and a number of boos. Samson and Explosion both soak in the crowd’s reactions as well. All three men leave the ring as EMTs rush to The Paladin’s aid.)
Kevin Cole: The Wrecking Crew have just beaten The Paladin to a bloody pulp!
Nik Cain: Looks like these guys are bringing a gang war to FCW. And, having followed each of their careers for some time, I think that means that FCW has officially become a whole lot less safe.
Kevin Cole: Be that as it may, the show must go on! Up next, Sambo defends his Television Title against former Intercontinental Champion Cedric Donahue!
Nik Cain: This will be a tough test for Sambo, but he’s getting real damn good at defying the odds.

(As the match ends Mark Payne comes out from behind the curtain and slowly makes his way down the ring…On both hands are brass knuckles, his face a mask of fury and hate. Payne slides into the ring and comes up behind Sambo, as Donahue slides out of the ring and heads to the back…Sambo turns around and has a split second before Payne hits him with a hard right that draws blood immediately from the forehead of Sambo. Sambo staggers back and Payne sends another right to the jaw of Sambo, knocking him to the ground. Payne grabs him by the hair and gets him back up and throws him into the corner and follows it in with a clothesline that has Sambo stagger out of the corner and Payne follows it with a hard boot to the abdomen. Sambo doubles over and Payne sets him up and drives Sambo, neck and back first, to the mat with the dangerous Moment of Clarity is face down and unconscious. Payne kicks him on his back and sits down over top of him, and picks Sambo’s head up with his left hand. Payne hits Sambo with hard right hands, clad in those brass knuckles, over and over again until Sambo’s head is a bloody mess…Payne gets off of him and kicks him in his ribs once more for good measure before taking the mic from the ring announcer…)
“The Blonde Bastard” Mark Payne: Another week and another lesson for you all to witness. Sambo called me out and he tried to one up THE BLONDE BASTARD. Look at him now. His face is going to need god knows how many stitches, and I think to boot I may have hurt his poor little neck again. This is what I am talking about…I told you all that I have my enemies and that the time had come for me to extract come revenge on them. Historically the champion is the hunted…Well we’re going to rewrite the laws. The hunted is the hunter. I am not waiting for you to show up on my doorstep, instead I am going to go to yours, break it down, come in and beat the living hell out of each and every one you. It’s survival of the fittest and here in FCW I am the best at it. I have survived everything this federation has scene, I have survived the most brutal of matches…And I’ll survive this. Easily. Look at this trash bag here; he wants to stand toe to toe with me. He isn’t in my league, no one here is. I am the FCW World Champion, and until I lose this belt I will continue to claim dominance over all. You want to prove me wrong? I’m right here…
(Payne throws down the mic and leaves the ring; kicking Sambo once.)
Kevin Cole: The World Champion has just assaulted the Television Champion!
Nik Cain: I’m sure Sambo would love to prove Payne wrong. But he’s gonna have to get in line behind Chad Phillips and Darian Blaze.
Kevin Cole: Well, up next, Oblivion takes on Evenkiel!
Nik Cain: Looks like that’s my cue.
(A familiar sight as security comes to escort Nik Cain away. Dennis Miller makes his way to the announce position and, as he passes Cain, he is greeted by a few rude gestures and a less than flattering remark about his mother.)
Dennis Miller: Geez,
what's with that guy? He reminds me of Leslie Krause in House of Games.
Kevin Cole: Welcome to the show, Mr. Miller.
Dennis Miller: Well thank you, it's always nice to meet someone who only
understands half of what I say.
Kevin Cole: Sure thing.
Dennis Miller: Ha-ha, you just have to start reading past a fourth grade level
before our next meeting or this could be real uncomfortable for you babe. In
any case, I've been watching and I hope that Evenkiel can keep this match
clean. I'd rather not be witness to something that you'd see in Quest For
Fire. And if anyone out there agrees with me, then Evenkiel has set up a
toll-free number to call and pledge your support. Call me America at
1-800-LACTOSE, and we'll help make television watchable again.
Kevin Cole: Well there you have it! Let's get to the match!

As for Hazard, he has been strangely silent after being betrayed by Mark Payne. Who knows what he’s been plotting.

(Brad Steel has been fighting an uphill battle for months. With this win, with this title, he has achieved a lot and validated his cause. He holds the belt high with pride. Too bad he doesn’t have eyes in the back of his head. Oblivion leaps the guardrail and slides into the ring. The Dream Coach, who is on the opposite side of the ring, cannot be heard over the roaring crowd and fails to get Steel’s attention in time. Oblivion nails him with a vicious kick to the back of the head, causing him to drop the IC title. Oblivion then buries his boot in Steel’s gut, locks his arms, and drives him right onto the belt with the eND. He then picks up the title and starts bludgeoning Steel about the head and chest with it relentlessly. Over and over again, blood pouring from Steel’s forehead, nose, and mouth. Finally security drags him off, literally kicking and screaming. He is overheard shouting, “nothing is over until I say it is!” as he attempts to get a couple more kicks in as he is dragged off.)
Kevin Cole: Oh dear lord! Steel is unconscious, literally in a pool of his own blood!
Nik Cain: I guess the joy of fulfilling a dream is short lived here in FCW.
Kevin Cole: I guess so. EMTs are attending to the new FCW Intercontinental Champion. We are desperately out of time! But who knows what will happen next week! Tune in and find out! Until then, this is Kevin Cole for Nik Cain saying goodnight!
