Pledge Your Allegiance 3

St. Valentine’s Day Massacre

(“New Breed” begins to play and the standard FCTV intro runs. As it comes to a close, we cut to a shot of the sold out FCW Arena. As soon as the opening pyro starts fading away, "Come With Me" plays over the PA System as, once again, Sambo makes his way to the ring, mic in hand. As usual, he's not met with a warm response, being showered with both boos and garbage. Unfazed, Sambo slides in the ring.)

Sambo: Two weeks ago, Brad Steel answered my client, Ray Hoffman's open challenge. And a week ago, he gave Mr. Hoffman exclusive rights to choose the type of match they'd meet in at the St. Valentine's Day Massacre Pay Per View. However, my client could not be bothered with such a meddlesome task. Last week, he was too busy preparing for the destruction of Chris White, which he did with no problem. And this week, he was preparing for his win over Oblivion. So, as his manager/agent, I took it upon myself to make a decision in his best interest.

(Sambo pulls out a pair of handcuffs from his back pocket and starts spinning them around.)

If we handcuff Steel and Hoffman together, Steel won’t be able to run away from my client or try hiding behind the referee, the ring post, or whatever else he can find. He will have no choice but to the take the beating my client can so easily give him. So Brad, the match stipulation's been chosen. You versus the most impressive powerhouse in the FCW today, Ray Hoffman, in a Handcuff Match. If you want to turn tail and run away, feel free to. No one will think any less of you...

(With that, "You Think I Ain’t Worth a Dollar...." by Queens of the Stone Age begins to play as Brad Steel appears at the entry way, mic in hand.)

Steel: Now, Sambo, if anyone knows about walking away...It's going to be you.  Yeah, you know what I'm talking about. You are a coward Sambo. Now you’re hiding behind Ray Hoffman. He's your security blanket so to speak, but where was he when I speared your ass?  Where was he when I drove your face straight into the mat with a Steel-Driver? Where was your man Hoffman then, huh? I certainly don't see him now and it looks like you’re on the wrong side of the tracks my friend.

(On the note, Steel rushes to the ring. As soon as he slides in, however, Sambo starts putting the boots to him. Eventually, Sambo slides out of the ring and grabs a chair. Steel wobbly makes his way to his feet, leaning on the ropes to keep him up. Sambo looks at Steel, smirks, raises the chair over his head, and swings.

However, Steel quickly sidesteps the swing and the chair ricochets off the top rope and comes back, nailing Sambo right in the head. Sambo drops like a ton of bricks, and Steel begins stomping away at Sambo. Steel looks to the ramp as Ray Hoffman makes his way to the ring, and as soon as Hoffman slides in, Steel slides out. Steel heads out through the crowd with a grin on his face.)

Kevin Cole: Full Contact Television is on the air! We haven’t even gotten five minutes into the program and it’s already getting out of control!

Nik Cain: Well, we are one week away from the grand daddy of them all, Pledge Your Allegiance, and you can feel the excitement in the ring, backstage, hell, all the way up in the nosebleeds.

Kevin Cole: But we’ve got plenty of action this week to get to first! Our main event is a triangle match between Mark Payne, Evenkiel, and Explosion!

Nik Cain: Should be a good one. Both Payne and Evenkiel will be involved in the World Title main event next week and, with the fourth man still a mystery, Explosion will, no doubt, be looking to turn a few heads with a victory.

Kevin Cole: But first, Dream Warrior will be in action taking on The Messenger!

Kevin Cole: Maybe. We have got to take a break but do not go away! When we return, it’s time for our main event!

(Commercials)

Kevin Cole: We are back! Wait...I am receiving word of some sort of commotion backstage!

(The camera opens to a shot of Harrison Phillips and Jonny Montgomery making their way back to their locker room, as Phillips places his hand on the door knob to open the door, a very scantily clad woman walks up to him and places her hand on his. A second woman is standing beside her giggling. The scantily clad woman begins to speak…

Woman: You’re the man with the big...

(Giggles erupt between the two women, eliciting a sly grin from Phillips, as Harrison releases the doorknob and proceeds to pat his crotch. The door to the locker room comes flying open and the Nightmare Express charge out. Bad Dreams is the first to reach Harrison connecting with a kick to the throat, Harrison immediately clutches his throat and goes to one knee. As Montgomery rushes to his partner’s aide, a Dream Warrior lariat almost decapitates him. The Dream Warrior’s assault does not end there, as he jumps on Montgomery and starts pummeling Montgomery's forehead with closed fists. On closer inspection, a small chain appears to be wrapped around the Dream Warrior’s knuckles. Eventually Montgomery passes into a semi-conscious state as a thin stream of blood trickles down his forehead.

Meanwhile, Bad Dreams nails Phillips in the sternum with a soccer-style kick, making the big man wince in pain while, in the background, the Dream Coach has exited Play Money’s locker room and is handing a large wad of dollar bills to the two women, who in turn scurry off.

Bad Dreams continues his assault on the enormous member of Play Money, kicking him repeatedly until finally Phillips collapses to his back. Bad Dreams reaches down and grabs Phillips by the ear pulling back in an attempt to bring the big man to his feet. In an effort to alleviate the excruciating pain, Phillips turns to his stomach and gets on his hands and knees. Almost immediately, Bad Dreams releases his grip on the ear and yanks both of Phillips’ arms behind his back, holding him while the Dream Coach shackles the man’s wrists with a pair of handcuffs. With his hands firmly secured behind his back, Phillips rolls to his posterior and begins thrashing around with his feet franticly trying to fend of his two attackers. This effort is short-lived as a Dream Warrior punch to the back of his cranium stuns Phillips just long enough for Bad Dreams to dive across his legs, allowing the Dream Coach to apply a second pair of handcuffs around both ankles.)

Dream Coach: Mr. Phillips here fashions himself to be quite the lady’s man, priding himself on his between the sheets endeavors, well let’s see how well he can do it as a eunuch.

(The Dream Coach produces a small knife, the blade glimmers as it catches the camera crew’s lights.)

Dream Coach: This is going to hurt...a lot.

(As the Dream Coach begins to kneel down, a bloodied Jonny Montgomery comes flying into the scene barreling over the Dream Coach knocking the knife out of his hand. Almost immediately both members of the Nightmare Express start laying the boots to Montgomery, who has positioned his body over that of his motionless partner. After what seems like an eternity, several members of FCW security come running into the picture separating the two teams, as the Dream Coach is being shoved backwards behind the mass of human bodies he yell.)

Dream Coach: We’ll see you at the PPV, where we will finish what we started.

(We cut back to the announce table.)

Kevin Cole: Oh...my...goodness!

Nik Cain: Is it just me or is Dream Coach a total f*cking nut bag?

Kevin Cole: Uh...let’s get to the ring for our main event!

Nik Cain: Payne’s got some nice momentum going into the biggest show of the year. But I don’t think we’re done yet, since Jean was invited to come out to the ring at the end of the night.

("I Stand Alone" starts up, but quickly fades and is replaced by "Paint it Black" by Earth Crisis. A man dressed in the same style as Jean appears with that familiar gray mask covering his face. There are no eyes, no mouth, just a solid gray cocoon surrounding his head. He passes by Mark Payne as he leaves the ring, never glancing at him. He then enters the ring where Evenkiel is now recovering. He runs through Evenkiel with a clothesline and fires off a Tears for Fears on the proprietor of the move before kicking him outside. He stands calmly in the ring waiting for the world champion's response to the previous invitation.

Mere moments pass before Jean appears on the ramp with the FCW World Title. He makes his way to the ring and enters, calling for a microphone. He stares his warped twin in the face, looking over The Magus as he prepares to speak. Before the first syllable can be uttered though, The Magus has ripped the microphone from his hand. A vaguely familiar voice speaks in hushed tones to the World Champion.)

"You talk far too much, boy. For far too long have you had the privilege of wearing an ill-fitting crown in this kingdom of fools. You stand at the top of the mountain and you look down with contempt and disgust at every link of the food chain, never once remembering that it was from dirt you came and to dirt you will return. Your existence as a champion is a mockery, and a bane to my soul. For months now, the wicked worm of that knowledge has fed itself upon my conscience. You see, it was I that allowed this cruel joke to perpetuate itself, and so I feel that it is necessary that I make an effort to, shall we say, stop the madness."

(The Magus peels the bottom of the mask up just far enough to reveal his mouth as he continues.)

"Let me tell you about the time I almost died. August 16, 2002. That was the day I almost died, Jean. Watching you achieve your tainted glory, seeing you fall victim to that deadliest sin of all, pride. I watched, helpless and unable to stop the events that fate had set into motion, powerless to slow the descent that the title you carry had begun. Once a proud and shining emblem carried by warriors that would make all of Camelot blush, that piece of leather and tarnish has become looked upon as a plaything for a child. That's all you are, Jean, a child. Spoiled to the black core of you. The pretenses of separation you feed yourself and the idyllic isolation that you have painted your world in will be your ruin in a swift and violent fashion. You more than anyone seem to understand fate, Jean. You more than any other member of this body we call FCW seems to have an understanding of the undeniable."

(The Magus peels the mask up to the bridge of his nose and his voice is no longer hushed, but speaks in an all too familiar semi-growl.)

"You see, I told you that I was going to tell you about the time I…almost…died. But you couldn't finish the job, could you Jean? You couldn't get it done, could you? You limp-wristed moth to a black light poser. You're an outdated goth kid that can't understand that Marilyn Manson isn't cool anymore that makes for a piss poor fed head. You don't deserve that belt and come hell or high water I'm going to be the one that makes sure you don't wear it. You will meet your ruin because of me."

(With that, The Magus slaps the taste out of Jean's mouth and drops the mic. The two men waste no time in trading right hands, but a quick thumb to the eye slows Jean down long enough for him to be hit with a lightning quick version of the Deadly Promise. He waits for Jean to stand slowly before whipping him back with a wicked backdrop driver. The Magus stands over Jean's awkwardly bent body and picks up the FCW World Title and peels the mask completely off to reveal Hazard. He picks up the microphone.)

"When you wake up and watch this, I hope you understand what in the hell kind of monster you've created, kid. See you on Valentine's Day."

(Hazard holds the title overhead before letting it fall to Jean's chest and leaving him lying in the ring.)

Kevin Cole: Hazard! Hazard is back!

Nik Cain: And I think we just found out who lucky, number four will be for our main event next week. The former World Champion will finally get his chance to take back what he lost to Jean all those months ago.

Kevin Cole: Pledge Your Allegiance 3 is a show you simply cannot afford to miss! Until then, this is Kevin Cole for Nik Cain saying goodnight!
