(“New Breed” by Fear Factory plays as we see highlights of the various FCW superstars. Eventually, the screen bursts into computer-generated flames and, when the flames dissipate, all that remains in the FCW logo. As the logo fades, we get a live shot of the FCW Arena. The camera pans around to get a view of the entire crowd. Then we cut to a shot of the announce table, where both Kevin Cole and Nik Cain are seated. Cain is, as usual, dressed in all black and, as usual, Kevin Cole looks like he still lets his mother dress him.)

Kevin Cole: Hello everybody and welcome to Full Contact TV! With me is my broadcast colleague, Nik Cain.

Nik Cain: Could you not sit so damn close to me?

Kevin Cole: We’ve got plenty of great matches for you, including the main event between Comedy and Bad Dreams to crown the first ever FCW Television Champion. And we’re not wasting any time as we go right to the ring for some tag team action!

Nik Cain: The team of Unleaded and Head Break Kid will be taking on Shawn Michaels and Quackman. Its relevant to note that these four men have been both allies and enemies in the past and know each other in the ring very well.

Kevin Cole: I also heard that Michaels is wrestling hurt.

Nik Cain: That is true. He is nursing a few minor injuries. Its not like him to wrestle hurt. I imagine this has little to do with his work ethic and a lot to do with Crawford riding him. Michaels has a reputation as a disciplinary problem and Crawford wants to show him who’s boss early.

(“Smoke on the Water” by Deep Purple blasts over the PA, signifying the arrival of FCW Owner/President James Crawford. Crawford makes his way to the ring accompanied by his personal bodyguards, Masked Fat Guy #2 and Masked Fat Guy #3, who are both in their wrestling gear. Once standing in the center of the ring, Crawford pulls a mic out of his coat pocket and addresses the crowd.)

James Crawford: I did not come out here tonight to discuss the state of wrestling today nor did I come out here to discuss the state of the FCW, which is pretty damn good, thanks for asking. No, I came out here to address one man and one man only.

Dark Enigma. (mix of cheers and boos from the crowd)

Enigma, last week you crashed my little party. Now, I could have had you thrown out of my building. I could have charged you for assaulting my athletes in a match you were not sanctioned to compete in. But I know talent when I see it, and you’re talent. So, I signed you to a contract to compete in FCW and I know you are in the building. So, get your ass out here for your first match of the night.

(Enigma’s music blasts over the PA. He and Phoenix come through the curtain, dressed in street clothes. They make their way to the ring. Enigma is obviously not very happy.)

James Crawford: Why the long face Enigma? Is it because you just realized that I am about to nail your ass to the wall? Because, if so, you are smarter than I thought. See, you signed a contract to compete in FCW, but you didn’t read it very closely. I knew you wouldn’t and I knew you didn’t have any high priced lawyers who would read the fine print for you. But, if you had read it, you would have noticed a special little clause that states that you must compete in any and every match I schedule you to compete in. If you no show for any reason, be it injury, death in the family, valet on the rag, anything, you are in breach of your contract and I will see you in court.

Now, I know you were expecting to face “The Survivor” Tom Tennant in a Singapore Cane Match, and you will. But first, as a little warm up, you get to face both Masked Fat Guy #2 and Masked Fat Guy #3 in a handicap match. Try not to get hurt. That would be a terrible shame.

(Crawford exits the ring as the ring announcements are made.)
