(The standard FCTV intro runs. As it ends, we cut live to the sold out FCW Arena. The cameras catch as many of the diehards in attendance as possible before we cut to the announce position.)
Kevin Cole: FCTV is on the air! Tonight...
(“Smoke on the Water” begins to play James Crawford makes his way out to the ring, accompanied by the Masked Fat Guys. Crawford seems in a somewhat somber mood. Once in the ring he addresses the crowd.)
James Crawford: You know, I like to think of myself as a lenient boss. The men who sign to compete in FCW know the risks and know, as the name Full Contact Wrestling implies, there aren’t too many rules or guidelines. But you’ve probably noticed increased security this week, both backstage and around the ringside area. Last week a line was crossed, and I never want to see that happen again. Evenkiel’s stunt with the bees was bad enough. But to have guys who, as far as I know, don’t even work for my company coming out and seriously injuring FCW talent? I cannot sit back and tolerate that. And I must confess I feel responsible. Rocky McCray may never walk again and I hold myself responsible. As for the title he won last week, I’m not really in the mood to deal with deciding what to do with it just yet. So, for now, consider it vacant indefinitely. I don’t know the identity of the man who broke Rocky McCray’s back, nor do I know the identity of the “clone” who tried to break Fuzion X’s neck in two pieces. But, if either of you are listening, that sort of sadistic behavior is unacceptable, even here. And that goes to everyone else in the back too.
(With that, “Smoke on the Water” begins to play again and Crawford makes his way backstage.)
Kevin Cole: Strong words from the president!
Nik Cain: I gotta agree with him that certain individuals were way out of line last week. But I really don’t think he should hold himself responsible for the actions of others.
Kevin Cole: In any case, we’ve got a great show for you tonight including a street fight between Samson and Mark Payne!
Nik Cain: Those two will actually do battle out on the streets of New York City.
Kevin Cole: We also have Darian Blaze challenging Bad Dreams for the Intercontinental Championship!
Nik Cain: Blaze is a former World Champ, so Dreams will have his hands full. Speaking of championships, it sounds like the TV Title is going on a hiatus of sorts.
Kevin Cole: So it would seem. But let’s get the show started as The Heretics make their FCTV debut against the Special Crimes Unit!
Nik Cain: Both of these teams are hungry so this should be a great way to get the show started.

Brian Kassinova
(“I’m Not You” by
Clipse begins to blast over the PA system. Darian Blaze and Lauren step out from
under the curtains. Blaze stands outside the ring, and looks on at Brian
Kassinova with a look of contempt. Lauren hands Blaze a mic as he begins.)
Darian Blaze: No, need to call the boys. There won’t be any punches thrown, well
tonight at least. I guess everyone is wondering why I’m out here. It’s pretty
simple I don’t like you Kassinova. So you put on a good performance against
Crawford’s top tier guys in a royal rumble, let me tell you how much I care. You
won a table match, a match more about luck than skill. You’ve proven nothing.
Let me be the first to tell you, the FCW ain’t for pretty boys, it’s for
warriors, fighters, and legends. Tonight Kassinova, I’m going to do something
you couldn’t, I’m going to beat Bad Dream’s ass and become the Intercontinental
Champion. You don’t know about true pain yet. But I’ve just volunteered to teach
you. You think your hottest star in the world? You ain’t. When you’ve fought in
the matches I’ve been in, against the people I’ve been against, then come back
and talk. So tonight, like I said, there won’t be any violence, just a few words
to think about, from me to you.
(The crowd seems surprised by the words
expressed by Blaze. Blaze looks at Lauren, and then the crowd, with a smirk on
his face.)
Blaze: Next week, Kassinova you and me, in a match I made famous, the DEATH
match. Let me explain the rules to you, please try and keep up. First to three
falls, consecutively wins, simple enough? Good. I’ll expect to see you there
next week.
(Blaze drops the mic, and calmly walks to the back with Lauren.)
Kevin Cole: Blaze has just called out Kassinova!
Nik Cain: To a death match, no less. But Kassinova needs to focus on the task at hand.

Kevin Cole: Evenkiel taps out! Dream Warrior gets the win!
Nik Cain: Warrior may have gotten the win but he don’t look in any hurry to release that hold.
(When the bell rings, Dream Warrior does not relinquish the hold. The referee literally has to try and pry Warrior off before he decides to let go. But, as this is happening, the man who broken Rocky McCray’s back last week leaps over the guardrail and slides in the ring, once again wearing a black hooded sweatshirt that covers most of his face. He reaches out and grabs Warrior from behind for what looks like it will be an inverted DDT. But, instead, he drops to one knee, nailing Warrior with a type of backbreaker.
As Warrior falls to the mat, the man leaps onto Evenkiel, raining punches down on his face. Security floods the ring and three men pull the man off of the bloody and unconscious Evenkiel. As they have him restrained, we hear the voice of James Crawford, who has just stepped through the curtain.)
James Crawford: Just who in the hell do you think you are?
(The man stands motionless, his head hanging down so we cannot see his face. There’s a security officer on either side of him, each holding one of his massive, tattooed arms.)
James Crawford: Answer me, dammit!
(Then a voice is heard. The person speaking is just offstage but, as the words come forth, the crowd’s reaction proves that there is no mistake as to who is speaking.)
Oblivion: He’s with me.
(Oblivion wheels himself out onto the stage. It obviously pains Crawford to look at his nephew right now. Not just because he is in a wheel chair, but because of the things he’s done, has had done, and will continue to do. With his eyes focused on his feet, the president of FCW speaks again.)
James Crawford: Let him go. You heard me! Let him go.
(The guards reluctantly release the man, who leaves the way he came. Oblivion wheels himself out of view and, after a pause and a slow shake of his head, Crawford leaves as well.)
Kevin Cole: I am in shock! I cannot believe what I’ve just seen!
Nik Cain: Looks like it was Oblivion who put out the hit on Rocky McCray. I’ve got no clue who that other guy is, but he looks to be almost 300 pounds of muscle and willing to do whatever Oblivion tells him. That’s a dangerous combination.
Kevin Cole: You are definitely right about that! Speaking of dangerous combinations, Explosion and Hazard are next!
Nik Cain: The biggest criticism levied towards Explosion is that, despite his size, he frequently lacks intensity. A few people can draw that intensity out of him. Monarch is one; Hazard is definitely another. So I am expecting a good fight.
